Yoga Warriors Teacher Training – Yoga Alliance 16 CEUs – Yoga Warriors Teacher Training is an evidence-based yoga program designed specifically for teachers to instruct military personnel to help prevent or alleviate symptoms of combat stress (COSR) or post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
Reiki Sessions & Certification – Experience the wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you through Reiki Training or a Session. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit and creates many beneficial effects including relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing. Group & Private Level 1, 2 & Master Training Options available. Private treatment sessions available.
Hatha Raja Sadhana Master Class – This transformational, moving meditation session begins with spiritual pranayama and dharana (concentration) followed by an in-depth and challenging Namaskar vinyasa practice. Focusing on the 8-Limbed Path, personal attention is given throughout the class as well as direction toward the true goal of Yoga. For Intermediate/Advanced practitioners, teachers and teacher trainees.
Kundalini Yoga – Authentic Kundalini kriyas, mantras and meditations as specifically taught by Yogi Bhajan. Classes, workshops and intensives designed around your own specific topics or issues.
Partner & Couples Yoga – We will work with a partner to explore poses in depth and support each other in discovering the dynamics of different poses. Relying on trust and communication, partner yoga is a great way to practice surrender, empathy and balance. Keep each other balanced, focused, and achieve a new sense of grounding, extension, and support. Partner yoga is nurturing and healing. Plus, it is a lot of fun!
Hippy Twist – Release stress that gets locked in the hips and help regulate the digestive system by moving through a fun combination of hip opening asanas and twists. You will be led through a complimentary set of postures that will leave you feeling open, flexible and cleansed – in body, mind and spirit!
Inversions & Backbends – After an effective warm up, move through an exciting system of inversions and backbends along with modifications and variations of each pose, adjusted to your experience level. We will review assisted and unassisted inversions in order to stimulate the upper chakras, and show you how to use props to deepen your backbends in order to open the heart center. You will leave this class feeling rejuvenated and with greater vitality!
Stress Relief – A lovely combination of calming breathing practices, postures and stretches focusing on the places in the body where we hold our ‘caffeinated schedules’, including hips and shoulders. Practice will end with a serene progressive relaxation technique of Yoga Nidra, or Yogic Sleep.
Rest, Restore & Rejuvenate – A nurturing, all-levels restorative and rejuvenating yoga practice, this workshop will incorporate mindful movement that releases physical and mental tensions while awakening the fluidity and suppleness of the spine and joints. This rejuvenating practice will enhance the benefits of the prop-supported restorative postures. Resting poses with support results in the melting away of tension, a quieting of the nervous system and a satisfying experience of calm, deep ease and spaciousness.
Yin Yoga – A beautiful, deep sequence of movements created to strengthen and lengthen the connective tissues of the body. With an emphasis on the thighs, hips and spine, these deep, juicy stretches and postures are held from 3-5 minutes to create openness and serenity to the body and mind.
Yoga Nidra – Yoga Nidra means Yogic Sleep and is a profoundly transformative guided meditation practice that helps us break free of self-limiting patterns, emotions and beliefs so that we may lead lives of greater ease, peace and fulfillment. It is deeply restorative for the body, mind and spirit, and offers a wonderful antidote to stress and anxiety. Detox – Combining specific breathwork practices with an invigorating asana flow sequence, then settling into twists and inversions, to enhance our efficiency in our digestive, respiratory and circulatory systems.
Spiritual Flow – Make an offering to the Divine within in this powerful, purifying vinyasa flow practice. An invigorating practice designed to build tapas (zeal), provide purification and detoxification of body. By creating a moving meditation with the body, breath and spirit, we uncovering the True Self through meditation in motion. A great way to build on your own practice; either at home or in any personal yoga class you attend on a regular basis.
Just Breathe – We will move through gentle and restorative postures while studying in depth breathing techniques to enhance concentration, lung capacity and efficiency and to help bring tranquility to the body and mind. A fabulous precursor to meditation practices of which we will touch upon to round out the session.
Meditations on the Mat – Relax and revitalize with this session that provides clear, simple and basic meditation instructions to help decrease stress, enhance well-being and help boost your mood. Easy to follow exercises will help improve focus, energy and concentration. Meditation practices on the mat lead to mindfulness off of the mat and into the world.
Chakra Balancing – Chakras are energy centers that govern our mental, physical and emotional responses to life. When the chakras are balanced we experience a natural flow and flexibility that flows out into the world around us. We will begin to understand the chakra system, and work towards balancing the chakras through meditations and asana sequences designed specifically for each chakra. We will explore sound therapy, seed sounds, chanting, and movement to open, and balance the chakra energy centers.
Teambuilding – Practicing yoga with someone else can enhance your relationship while improving the body, mind, and spirit of each individual. In this fun and light-hearted workshop, we will be working through the postures with someone else which emphasizes the complementary aspects of balance, flexibility, strength and gentleness, while revealing the multifaceted qualities that create communication, trust and respect.
Children’s Yoga and Teen Yoga– Improve strength, flexibility, and coordination. Children and teens will learn how to focus and center themselves with various breathing and visualization techniques. They will also learn self-respect and respect for others with the practice of fun postures, group games, and breathing techniques.
Family Yoga – Fun for the whole family! Interactive poses including partner poses, games, music and self-expression through yoga. Yoga is a great activity to do with your child!
Prenatal Yoga – Strengthen mind, body and spirit in preparation for labor and delivery with a class designed to help expectant moms deepen their experience and enjoyment of pregnancy. Classes include yoga postures that relieve the common discomforts of pregnancy, relaxation techniques and breathing exercises to help relieve anxiety.
Divine Feminine Practices – A combination of yoga, reiki and shamantic practices designed to honor and empower the divine feminine energies by working with the chakras, mantras, mudras and moon correspondences through ritual and moving meditation.
